Campaign of the Month: September 2014
Official Designation: Delta Pavonis VI
Type: Jovian planet
Orbital Distance: 5.36 AU
Orbital Period: 4,461.86 standard days
A large Jovian planet roughly three times the mass of Jupiter, Lahut is not significantly larger in size. In addition to the expected hydrogen, Lahut appears to contain a large amount of helium as well as heavier elements, particularly noble gases such as xenon and argon.
Lahut exerts powerful magnetic forces in its orbital range and is believed to have captured many of the larger and more metallic Kafur Belt objects as moons. For this reason, Lahut has vital mining operations taking place among its outer moons. Ships and drones engaged in these activities are not in immediate danger, but are advised to exercise caution.
